Dunedin Florida

I love the place I call home, Dunedin Florida (pronounced “dun-EE-din”). It just doesn’t get any more eclectic than our fun little Gulfside town. A coastal suburb of Tampa and St. Petersburg set on the Gulf of Mexico, Dunedin is home to about 39,000 residents. We have a thriving downtown and a truly unique culture with a Scottish heritage. Few cities can boast of having their own bagpipe band, ours became World Champions in August 2018 while competing in Glasgow Scotland.

Dunedin is the backdrop for breathtaking sunsets, kayaking to half a dozen spoil islands, Honeymoon Island, Caladesi Island, is home to 10 breweries and one distillery. Dunedin even has witches though you won’t find them casting spells, instead they publicly dance through the month of October to raise money for various charities.

Dunedin surely fits my vision of paradise and I’m a passionate participant in helping shape our city. Our strength is in our community and vibe, and our vibe is not about buildings – it’s about residents, our culture, and our behavior.
